The company is certified with ISO 9001:2015 but also with ISO 14001:2015 especially for the protection of the environment as well as the Occupational Health and Safety of the staff. All staff were raised with environmental seminars, rallies and persuasions to raise awareness of "non-extractive waste" management. The result was excellent compared to previous years with the collection and separation of burnt oils, batteries, tires, etc. and their promotion to certified bodies for recycling.
We therefore treat sustainable development as a combination of three key parameters: the economic, the environmental and the social. Each of them is intertwined with the other and the commitment in one sector presupposes the parallel commitment in the others as well. Our concern is to incorporate the principles of sustainable development into what we do.
Both the best protection of the environment, by limiting the impact of our activities, and the greater respect for human beings, which is proven by offering opportunities to a wider range of people (age, gender, educational level, experience, role in business) are commitments that we should all have as our primary concern. We therefore consider that we are just at the beginning of a progressive process and we hope that a real framework of values and evaluation criteria will emerge, through the international dialogue, common and beneficial for all of us who live, work and breathe from this island.
